What a Week

Oh my goodness! This week has been very very weird.

It was a very chill week but I am thankful for it. The Lord knew I needed it.

Last week I found out some interesting news about one of my investigators but I’m not going to expound. It through me for a whirl and tested my faith. I am proud to say I have come out on top and I know I have been made stronger and I can tell that I have changed. (:

So I have pictures!!! Some of them are a little old. But that is okay! (:

This transfer we heart attacked the Assistants door and car. Because we have an ongoing ‘nice’ prank. It’s been fun. (: The thing they did to us last is left random pot pies on our car(no idea how they found it) and had a pass along card that said, ‘Enjoy your dinner, -The Mormons’ took us a while to figure out who it was, but we did. (:

This week has been hectic and chill all at the same time. (:

I know that the Lord needed me to go through the trial that I did to strengthen myself and I have been strengthened. I feel like I am spiritually intune now. It’s weird and I feel like I can take anything on! Whatever is thrown at me here in the South, I can handle. I know with the Lord on my side, anything is possible.

That’s really all I got, OH! Ha something exciting! I have a team up set up for this week with *drum roll* PRESIDENT HANKS! Can you believe it? I’m gunna go teachin the gospel with my mission president. I’m excited and kinda a lot intimidated! Ha! But it will be fun. and Yikes all at the same time.

But I hope y’all are stayin happy and well! Remember to stay close to the Lord and he will bless you. (:

Bipolar Weather

My goodness weeks are just crazy!

Can y’all believe another one has past?!?

And as y’all should know, Martin Luther King day was yesterday that’s why I’m emailing so late!

But anyways. I had a pretty good week. Could have been a bit better but I know that as I have been close to my Heavenly Father that he is helping me get through my trials.

So my companion, Sister Dormer is amazing, now that I have spent 2 weeks with her! We have so many good times. We have fun together. But we are also major power houses! All these children of God here in Hoover, Alabama need to watch out! 😉 Haha just kidding..

So here is something crazy! Yesterday (Monday) MLK Day, was a beautiful day! We had 66 degree weather! Oh my goodness haven’t had that for a LONG while! (: And then today guess what, a high of 33 degress… WHY DOES ALABAMA HAVE SUCH BIPOLAR WEATHER!?! I just want it to be nice and warm all the time. But we can’t all have everything we want…

But yea!

All is well in the Hoover, Alabama area!

Stayin Put

Alrighty!
So I stayed again in Hoover, just means my time is not up here. And I’m kinda okay with that. (:
I love it here haha! And my new companion is: *drum roll* Sister Dormer!! I love her and people get our names confused a lot. (: It’s funny. Also she is amazing and we are going to rock it out here!
So just the main things that happened this last week!
First, committed Rebecca to a baptismal date and she did!!!!!! I’M SO EXCITED Y’ALL! My first baptism will be on January 25th. Oh my goodness. She came to church with us yesterday and wow oh wow it could NOT have been better. (: I’m just excited and proud and AAAAHHH!! Yup ha. (:
Also, there was a day where we went tracting most of the day and we handed out 4 Books of Mormon!! that’s a crazy ton for 1 day I think! Well I know! And then the very next day we gave out 1 more! Our zone has handed out a grand total of 59 Books of Mormon this week. We are totally winning. 😉 (not like it’s a competition…)
And also weather here is just….wow. It was FREEZING! for like 2 days got down to the teens! Yikes! and the very next day, was like 50 something. It was awesome and weird haha.
But anywho, that’s about all I got time for. I love y’all so much and I don’t have time for the scripture question…I’m sorry! JUST KEEP READING YOUR SCRIPTURES THIS WEEK! I will have a question for y’all next week. (:

Mom Email – Random Thoughts

So, we have been coming to the library a little later and I’m sorry if that’s any inconvenience! But I’m here!

And transfers, I’m staying in Hoover again…but sadly Sister Christensen is getting transferred… ): It’s okay though. I guess other people need her more than me… ):

And guess what!?!?!

WE GOT SOMEONE COMMITTED TO BAPTISM!! I’m so happy. We met her 2 weeks ago and then last week we committed her to baptism and this week when we go see her again, we are going to set up a date. Oh my goodness I was freaking out when I came out of that lesson. The spirit did not leave during that entire 1 HOUR lesson! IT was insane! I loved it and I’m looking forward to seeing her again(tomorrow).

Oh my goodness…IT”S FREEZING!! It snowed this morning! Ha.. Nothing compared to Utah. If you looked outside you could see white stuff flyin around in the air. It is so cold and today and tomorrow are supposed to be the coldest yet! I don’t like it… The humidity man, it really does bite! Ha.

I did get the SD card. Tell him thanks for me! (: And I have already started taking pictures!
My coat is great! It’s still cold though. And for some odd reason, the buttons on my coat DO NOT WANT TO STAY ON! 3 have already popped off! And 2 are loose. We are going to sew them on again today. I actually didn’t have any gloves when I first got here…And the pair I bought…they magically disappeared. I have looked EVERYWHERE for them and cannot find them. So I’m going to buy another pair today, a cheap pair though. I was actually thinking about the thermals! I think they would be very warm. (: But see, I would never wear them again, well actually I probably would. 😛
I’ve been thinking about recording myself saying something to them on my camera so the next time I send the SD card you could show it to them. It would be just short but I don’t know what I would say ha. Oh well.
You know random side note…For some weird reason, I was thinking the other day about if you were to die. And then I started to cry and think about how you said that if you did, you would be right next to me and that I would start to hear ‘you are so beautiful’ bein sung in my ear. It made my teary and laugh at the same time…
Ha. I know this is my random thought I have. (:
I’m going to be sending pictures from my companions’s camera.
